Access

In the West End of Alexandria, there has sometimes in the past been less organized parent advocacy than in other areas of town. If School Board only responds based upon advocacy, it can lead to an uneven access for our students, based upon where they live. While I truly believe that most Alexandrians want equity for all students, it is particularly important for the school board members representing the west side of town to continually examine the programs and resources at all of our schools and advocate for all of our students.
